Colleges, Sixth Forms & Universities
Does your institution deliver courses in health, beauty or skincare? Or would you like to raise awareness amongst your students about sun safety?
Melanoma is the most common skin cancer in young people and incidences are rising, especially amongst young women. With 43% of 18-25 year olds using sunbeds and untested nasal tanners gaining interest, it’s more important than ever to raise awareness of the risks amongst young adults.
We offer two different kinds of relevant training:
Flexible training and awareness
Sessions to help young adults detect melanoma, stay safe in the sun and fully understand the risks of UV radiation.
Melanoma Detection and Awareness
Training for health and beauty students to help them identify possible melanoma and help communicate their observations to their clients.
These can be delivered face-to-face or online by our knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Upon completion of the training, your institution will be awarded with our Education Skin Cancer Prevention Award.
All institutions that complete our awards, will be promoted on our social media pages (with their consent).
